It seems a good reason to start a blog. Today we heard the news we have been waiting for for so long. The last part of our adoption journey is about to begin. The judge has signed off on our final decree and we are SO close to our little girl now.

The journey to our baby girl has been fraught with dramas. There have been great moments - being accepted by Taiwan, file arriving, being on the top of the list (for a very long time), receiving the wonderful news that we have a beautiful and, more importantly, healthy daughter! The sad part is that this has been a three year journey and there has been too much anguish and torment along the way.

My hope is that this blog will be a happy place. A place to document the good things in life. Like this sweet boy ...
