morning

Well, I seem to be back with a vengeance :)
I think this is my 5th post in under 24 hours.

I have had a great day with helping in Tiggy's classroom. I had forewarned him that I may not actually be helping him. That was not well received. Luckily I did end up helping his group. Thank goodness.

When I had finished Woo had playgroup in the church hall and made her first wand!!

We are in the middle of the most glorious Indian Summer. I'm feeling good, under control and am sipping on a great latte in my very special Emma Bridgewater mug and a large wedge of carrot cake. YUM!!

All is well ...

here comes the bride

Finally, I put needle to cloth.

My ex-sister-in-law, whom I am clearly still very close to, is getting married on Friday. I was delighted to be asked to make the sash to go around the waist of her drop-dead-gorgeous grecian style dress. As smoky-grey became her accent colour I made her sweet little shoulder length veil in the same beautiful shade.

I hope I'll have more photos of what is bound to be a wonderful day.

before & after

Oh, my kitchen bench was a mess.  Just look at it.  (This is me keeping it very real!!).
I don't even drink that awful black drink - by the way.

Streamlined, orderly.  Much, much better.

For my fellow stationary loving nuts  I know there are quite a few of us out there!

shhhh

Too beautiful.
Sleep tight my angel-boy.

our household grows!

Just over a week ago our family grew a little.
We have welcomed Jun into our home.
He is studying in Australia for the next few years and we hope he will be happy living with us. We are so happy to have him with us.

Woo is completely smitten and runs to Jun every morning shouting, "Heyo Jun" over and over again until he finally gives in and waves to her. It's very sweet.

This dreadful photo had to be taken very quickly as Jun was not impressed about being photographed without proper clothes on. He looked fine to me and I insisted that I had to have it so that I could post it for his Orma and Appah to see! You can tell it was the weekend - look at my hairy husband!!
